Madeleine joins GridLab as a Program Manager with a decade of energy industry experience. Most recently, she served as Manager of Regional Transmission Planning and Strategy at Xcel Energy. She led regional transmission policy, grid modernization, and integrated systems planning projects, with technical experience including congestion management, AMI, and distribution level Volt-VAR optimization. She’s excited to expand upon her stakeholder experience within MISO, SPP and WestConnect to work towards technology and policy solutions for the full US grid.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a financial analyst and consultant based in NYC for social impact ventures including solar developers. Madeleine has a BS in Systems Science & Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a PE in Electrical Engineering in Colorado.
